Personalized Care and Guidance
A NEW JOURNEY PROVIDES SAP ASSESSMENTS, DUI ASSESSMENTS, ASSESSMENTS FOR PROBATION/DIVERSION REQUIREMENTS, AND ASSESSMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING A PLACE TO START A POSITIVE CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES.

A NEW JOURNEY CAN THEN ASSIST IN REFERRALS TO APPROPRIATE TREATMENT SERVICES AND ENSURE ASSESSMENT AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE TRANSFERRED TO YOUR CHOSEN PROVIDER IN A SAFE AND SECURE MANNER, WITH CONFIDENTIALITY AND PROTECTION OF CLIENT PRIVACY OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE.

RECOMMENDATIONS ARE INDIVIDUALIZED, BASED ON CLIENT NEED, AND ALWAYS DISCUSSED WITH THE CLIENT.
IT IS THE GOAL OF A NEW JOURNEY THAT EACH CLIENT TAKE THE NEXT STEPS WITH CONFIDENCE AND WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT EACH LEVEL OF CARE ENTAILS.

ALL ASSESSMENTS TAKE APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS TO COMPLETE. SAP ASSESSMENTS MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL TIME.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AVAILABLE

DUI Assessments
Individuals, attorneys, or probation officers can request a DUI Assessment. Typically there is a 24-48 hour delivery of a DUI Assessment Summary. Assessor will collect a personal history and will utilize additional assessment tools such as the SASSI-4 assessment. The assessment summary will include a recommendation for any necessary treatment.
Adolescent Alcohol and Drug Information Class
is provided the 3rd Saturday each month, dates are subject to change based on need and facilitator availability. Pre-registration for all participants is required. At this time, all classes are conducted via Zoom. You do not have to live in the local area to participate in this class.
Court Ordered Assessments and Other Referral Sources
Referrals from courts, probation, attornies, and diversion programs are initiated by either the referring agency or the client. The assessment will include a personal history interview, screening tools, and a written report to be provided to the referring agency.
Additional agencies who may refer clients for a drug and alcohol evaluation include agencies working with families toward reintegration, fostering, or other arrangements.
Self-Referral
Individuals may self-refer. The assessment is confidential and recommendations based on your personal needs.
SAP Assessments
This is a service for individuals who work under the DOT, such as CDL holders. Individuals will be referred by their company or Third Party Consortium. You can find me on SAPlist.com or through the FMSCA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. I can provide services to individuals IN KANSAS. I provide thorough evaluations and recommendations based on each individual's needs and help individuals connect with the recommended services.

TREATMENT PLAN/COURSE OF ACTION
AFTER YOUR INITIAL EVALUATION IS COMPLETED, WE WILL DISCUSS AND AGREE ON A COURSE OF ACTION. IÂ WILL MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS AND ASSIST YOU AS NEEDED. WHEN THE TREATMENT PLAN GOALS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED, WE WILL MEET FOR A FINAL EVALUATION. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SAY HOW LONG THE PROCESS WILL TAKE BUT MAY REQUIRE A FEW WEEKS OR A FEW MONTHS. THIS WILL DEPEND ON THE INITIAL TREATMENT GOALS AND YOUR PROGRESS IN ATTAINING THESE GOALS.
